Andy Cohen Responds After Brit Eady Files $20 Million Lawsuit Against Bravo Over Explicit ‘RHOA’ Posters
The drama surrounding Real Housewives of Atlanta just took a major legal turn. Brit Eady, the show’s newcomer, has filed a $20 million lawsuit against Bravo and its parent companies, accusing the network of defamation and creating a hostile work environment. The lawsuit follows an incident involving explicit posters allegedly displayed by Kenya Moore at a private event, sparking intense controversy.
The Controversial Posters and Lawsuit Details
Back in June 2024, Kenya Moore hosted a private event at her hair salon, where it was reported that explicit posters depicting Brit Eady in sexual acts were put up, shocking attendees. The backlash was swift, and Bravo later fired Kenya from the popular reality series due to the incident.
According to TMZ, Brit’s lawsuit targets Bravo, NBCUniversal, Truly Original, and Endemol Shine North America. She alleges that the network not only allowed the offensive imagery but also portrayed the photos as if they genuinely depicted her, causing severe emotional distress. Brit claims this has contributed to a toxic and gendered hostile work environment, forcing her to continue working despite the harassment.
Filed on June 5, the lawsuit accuses the defendants of defamation, emotional distress, and sexual harassment. Brit also demands that Bravo immediately remove the controversial episode from circulation.
Reunion Rumors and Cast Reactions
With the lawsuit making headlines, fans are wondering if Brit Eady will appear on the highly anticipated RHOA Season 16 reunion. According to PEOPLE, neither Brit nor Kenya Moore attended the reunion taping. Sources say Brit distanced herself after disputes with the cast, while Kenya was reportedly not invited by Bravo.
Meanwhile, familiar faces like Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley, and Cynthia Bailey are confirmed to appear on the reunion couch.
Andy Cohen’s Candid Response on Social Media
While Bravo has remained publicly silent on the lawsuit, executive producer Andy Cohen took to X (formerly Twitter) with a pointed message. Though he didn’t mention Brit or the lawsuit directly, fans quickly connected the dots.
“This is reaching a level of petty that’s beyond even anything I’VE seen!” Cohen tweeted, alongside a popcorn emoji—clearly signaling his disbelief at the ongoing feud.
