Kendrick Lamar: wordsmith, Pulitzer winner, now student? In resurfaced photos, the rap juggernaut was captured taking a college course, garnering the attention of fans on social media.

The photos, captioned “pov: just a normal day at UCLA,” were posted on TikTok earlier this week and gained nearly 8 million views as of Thursday. Lamar is seen sitting in the class with other students, listening to the lecture at the University of California, Los Angeles.

“bro is majoring in Advanced Beef 101,” one commenter wrote on TikTok.

Another person joked, “He said focus on ur major, not ur minor,” referencing Lamar’s dig at Drake on his Grammy-award-winning diss “Not Like Us.” UCLA clarified the now-viral photos of K. Dot were from 2022.

“But the lesson stays the same,” the school continued. “UCLA is where you level up.”

Former student describes Lamar as ‘kind and humble’

In the last few months, Lamar has won the rap feud against Drake, released his surprise sixth studio album “GNX,” earned multiple Grammys, and took over the Super Bowl stage on Feb. 9.

The original post’s creator, @alejandrainparis, provided more information about the Compton native’s visit in the comment section.

“He was incredibly kind and humble,” the TikToker wrote. “I didn’t realize who he was at the time −I just saw people asking for photos, and I took some too. It wasn’t until later that someone told me who he was.”
