On social media, many viewers were stunned as they realized that J.K. Rowling had seemingly reignited her feud with the Harry Potter stars after refusing to forgive Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe
JK Rowling has once again sparked controversy by appearing to take a swipe at the stars of the Harry Potter movies.
Months after stating that she would “never forgive” Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, the author made a cryptic remark on social media that many believe was aimed at them.

Despite working together for years, Radcliffe, Watson, and Rupert Grint have distanced themselves from Rowling.

The actors have publicly disagreed with some of her statements regarding the LGBTQ+ community.
One of Rowling’s most controversial comments came in 2023 when she suggested she would rather go to prison than use a transgender person’s preferred pronouns.
Writing on Twitter, she said: “I’ll happily do two years if the alternative is compelled speech and forced denial of the reality and importance of sex.”
Following these remarks, Radcliffe issued an apology to the transgender community for “the pain” caused by Rowling’s statements.
Additionally, Watson also expressed her support, reassuring trans individuals that they are “seen, respected, and loved.”

The tension escalated when a Twitter user speculated that Radcliffe and Watson might apologize to Rowling in the future.
The tweet read: “Waiting for Dan and Emma to give you a very public apology … safe in the knowledge that you will forgive them.”
Rowling responded sharply, making it clear that forgiveness was not on the table.
She wrote: “Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single-sex spaces.”
Rowling seemingly takes another jab at the Harry Potter cast
After many months since she claimed she would never forgive Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe for publicly criticizing her on social media, fans were once again stunned as Rowling’s latest social media post fueled speculation.

On March 17, Rowling posted another tweet that reignited speculation about her feelings toward the Harry Potter cast.
She responded to a post asking, “What actor/actress instantly ruins a movie for you?”
Rowling’s reply was brief but pointed: “Three guesses. Sorry, but that was irresistible.”
Given that Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint were the central trio in the Harry Potter films, many interpreted the comment as a dig at them.

One person said: She’s already said she’ll never forgive them. We don’t need her to keep repeating herself for publicity. Lol.
A second wrote: She was wrong. They still have respect for her, and appreciate her for what she did for them, but they disagreed with her on her stance on an issue.
While a third commented: Three guesses? 1. The same people who made millions off your work, then turned on you when it was ‘cool.’”
Another added: They ruined the movies for you, but you ruined everything else for everyone else, at least for those with beating hearts.
Someone else said: Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. Forgiveness benefits the forgiver more than the forgiven. Carrying an offense is hard and burdensome.
The rift between Rowling and the stars of her beloved franchise seems far from mended. While the actors have moved away from her views, Rowling remains firm in her stance.
