The Montreal Canadiens’ season wrap-up has been completed for several days now, and unsurprisingly, several players have left to return home.

Many players have indeed left to go back to their home country or hometown.

That said, there are still a good number of Habs players who have decided to stay in Montreal and spend the entire summer here, including six names who were spotted in the city Saturday night.

“Josh Anderson, Jake Evans, Kaiden Guhle, Alex Newhook, and Jayden Struble watched UFC 315 in Montreal on Saturday night.”

Jakub Dobes was also there.

So that’s six players who have officially decided to stay in Montreal, and some of them have already confirmed they will spend nearly the entire summer here.

Excellent news for Montreal Canadiens fans

It’s truly great news to see so many players wanting to spend their entire summer in Quebec.

It sends a strong message, it’s excellent for their preparation ahead of next season (they will have access to the Montreal Canadiens’ facilities and some coaches), and it’s great for team chemistry.

Let’s also remember this:

It looks like we can add Ivan Demidov’s name to this list as well.

This will be an interesting thing to watch over the next few weeks, but there could be more activity than usual at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard over the coming months.

Let’s remember that Jayden Struble was among the players who spent the entire summer in Montreal last year, so it’s great to see he’s still here.

He clearly seems to have fallen in love with the city.
