It’s been three long years since DeMarcus Cousins last played an NBA game. But the former NBA All-Star is still chasing his basketball dream.

After suffering a serious Achilles tendon injury back in 2018, he’s been working hard to keep his career alive. Cousins is playing in various basketball leagues around the world, including stints in Greece, the Big Three, and even Mongolia.

However, things took a dramatic turn during a game against Bayamon, the top team in Puerto Rico’s BSN. Unfortunately, the match didn’t go as planned for Cousins and his team, who were struggling near the bottom of the standings.

During the game, he got into a heated confrontation with a fan and ended up getting ejected. As he left the court, things escalated further when he found himself facing an angry crowd.

Cousins got agitated about the outcome and flagged off his middle finger while leaving the exit game. However, he got drenched with drinks thrown his way by the angry fans. In response, Cousins didn’t hold back, he kept flipping off the crowd and seemingly ready to go back for more.

Seeing things escalating too quickly, security at the arena had to hold him back to stop the altercation from heading to a full blown fight.

While DeMarcus Cousins found himself in a heated situation and ultimately getting ejected, things started brimming earlier.

It all started with a confrontation on the other side of the court. While the exact words exchanged were unclear, things escalated quickly.

A video showed Cousins defiantly grabbing his crotch while facing off against a fan who was making rude gestures back at him.

In all frustration, he grabbed the fan’s hands, which led to some shoving until former NBA player Theo Pinson stepped in to break it up.

Unfortunately, things didn’t improve for Cousins after that initial altercation. He was ejected from the game, which ended in a tough 101-91 loss for his team, the Mets de Guaynabo.

This loss pushed their record to 9-18 and left them struggling near the bottom of their conference standings. With their playoff dreams slipping away, the atmosphere was tense, and emotions were running high.
