After defeating the Memphis Grizzlies in the Play-In Tournament, the Golden State Warriors have officially secured a playoff berth. However, the real test now begins. The postseason brings a far more intense and demanding schedule compared to the regular 82-game stretch. For the Warriors, having their leader, Stephen Curry, healthy and on the floor is essential for the road ahead.

Their next challenge awaits them in Houston, where they’ll take on the Rockets at the Toyota Center on Sunday. Golden State released their injury report, and fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Curry, who has been nursing a thumb injury, is fully cleared to play. Even better, the entire Warriors roster is listed as available.

Everyone is available for the Warriors for Game 1 tomorrow night in Houston. Steph Curry is listed with a right thumb splint on his sprained thumb, but he’s cleared to play,” Anthony Slater reported.

Curry’s thumb injury didn’t stop him from suiting up and competing in the play-in victory over Memphis. He powered through discomfort and helped guide his team into the postseason.

Throughout the regular season, the Warriors superstar maintained his elite level of performance. He wrapped up the regular season, averaging 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game.

Interestingly, Sunday’s playoff carries a personal twist for Stephen Curry. Years ago, he mentored both Jalen Green and Amen Thompson at his own basketball camp. Now, he finds himself facing his former students in a playoff battle. Curry shared his thoughts with the reporters on Saturday.

“It is wild going into a playoff battle against two guys I coached for a weekend,” he said.

The court will now serve as the ultimate classroom for Steph Curry, Jalen Green, and Amen Thompson. Get ready for a former teacher vs. student clash.
